Todd Quartararo – Principal | Account Supervisor    
Todd Quartararo has more than 15 years of public relations experience and founded Quartararo & Associates (Q&A) in 1997. Before starting Q&A, he worked on national accounts at Bozell World- wide, Foote Cone & Belding, and Alcone Marketing Group. He has worked with clients including Taco Bell, Sprint PCS and Action Sports Retailer. Quartararo brings his account experience along with an entertainment, fitness and luxury lifestyle focus to Q&A. Since the start of Q&A, Quartararo has attracted some of the nation’s most recognized brands that have tapped the agency for launch campaigns including Bloomingdale’s, Cirque du Soleil, Hermes and The Sports Club/LA. In addition to his work at Q&A, he is also the co-founder of the Newport Beach Film Festival. Quartararo’s focus with Festival is on media relations, strategic partnerships and sponsorship development. He has secured relationships on behalf of the Festival with such celebrated brands as Absolut Vodka, Jaguar, Jet Blue, Land Rover and Perrier. The Festival, now in its 12th year, attracts more than 50,000 people annually and is recognized by Daily Variety as on of the top 25 film festivals in the nation.
​ Quartararo received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge and is the recipient of several national and international awards for his work for the Newport Beach Film Festival. 

​Cory Ransom - Account Executive

With the unique ability to tap a variety of sources including print, broadcast and online publications, Cory creates and maintains buzz surrounding any business or upcoming event. With PR work experience at a top buzz agency in New York City, Cory has worked on high profile accounts in the entertainment, lifestyle, hospitality and fashion industries. She has helped execute public relations strategies for companies such as Armani Exchange, French Connection, American Eagle Outfitters, MySpace, The Weather Stylist, Los Angeles Film Festival and Goodwill Morgan Memorial as well as many top restaurants and night clubs. She maintains excellent relationships with national media outlets including USA Today, US Weekly, People Magazine, Life and Style Weekly, OK! Magazine, Niche Media, The Today Show, Good Morning America and The View. 

     Born in New York and raised in Los Angeles, Cory graduated from Boston University with a dual degree in communications and political science. 

 

​Dawn Triemstra - Copy Writer

Dawn has been in the marketing, publishing and journalism industry for 7 years and contributes to Q & A Marketing as their copy writer. A foodie and wine lover, she grew up in Del Mar and previously worked at Riviera Magazine as an Associate Editor, where she focused on articles about the up and coming San Diego food and fashion scene. Dawn then went on to work at SURFING Magazine as the production manager where she produced the Swimsuit Issue for three years and contributed to marketing and branding ideas.
     An avid blog reader and book junkie, Dawn is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara and has a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters in Journalism from American University in Washington, D.C. She also has an apron collection to rival Julia Child. 


Travis Cross - Social Media Specialist

Specializing in brand building and engagement, Travis combines his experience in Social Media, Marketing and Public Relations to create and activate memorable brand strategy that aims to stand out through the noise of the mundane. Travis has previously held positions with The Armory, The Orange County Register, Clear Channel Outdoor and the Los Angeles Angels. Travis’s past client list includes Wilson Baseball, ATEC, Ronald McDonald House Charities and K1 Speed.
     An Orange County native, Travis received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and English from Chapman University where he concentrated on relationship development via social platforms. 


Jonathan Stacy - Account Coordinator

Jonathan has been creatively working in the publishing, marketing and entertainment industries for over five years. While building his foundation at San Diego’s prominent fashion magazine Riviera, he assisted with client relations through various events while keeping the inner office on schedule.  He went on to work for Q&A as an Account Coordinator. Trafficking various print and media materials, while assisting with various grand openings and VIP red carpet management. Clients include: Hermes Paris, Newport Beach Film Festival, Cirque Du Soleil, The Sports Club LA and many of San Diego’s top restaurants. From city life to beach side his adventurous spirit landed him on the tropical island of Maui. As Web and PR Coordinator for Maui No Ka ‘Oi Magazine, he continued to build and improve public exposure and branding for the publication. From coordinating content for web series, designing private events, fashion shoots, interviewing top chefs and executing culinary award galas, he creatively helped the magazine and Maui’s culinary scene gain international recognition. Jonathan received a B.A. in Communication Design with emphasis in Media Arts from California State University Chico. He’s an exercise junkie with a soft spot for great craft beer and cinematic adventures.
